I have a BA and MA, in philosophy and now study philosophy in my spare time. Rather than a hobby, philosophy is part of my life and I can't imagine what my life would be like without it. Philosophry started out as a collection of links for my own personal use. A friend suggested putting it online and the idea of a directory of philosophy stemmed from that. I was always impressed at the effort others had put into websites dedicated to philosophy with no thought of personal benefit other that the pleasure of sharing great ideas.
